Carla Jo (Fuller) Brown

Carla Brown, age 82, of Owasso, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, May 18, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Carla was born April 28, 1940 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Roy Ray and Opal Freedom (Baker) Fuller. She grew up and received her education in Skiatook. Carla married Vern Brown on June 11, 1957 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma and they made their home in Owasso. She later attended beauty school and became a hairdresser. She owned and operated Hair Benders in Skiatook and also worked at Owasso Beauty College and from home. Carla enjoyed arts and crafts, painting, drawing, crocheting, and making Barbie Doll Clothes.

Carla was preceded in death by her parents: Roy and Opal, and sister: Holly Jean Wade.

Carla is survived by her husband: Vern Brown children: Michael Lewis Brown, Cynthia Lynn McCurdy, Bonnie LuJean Brown-Lindley, and Kelly Sue Brown-Richer, sister: Emma Lou Shoemaker, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Carla Brown entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
