Carl “Rusty” Salmon

Rusty Salmon, age 58, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at the Baptist Hill Hospital in Ft Smith, Arkansas.

Rusty was born April 19, 1962 in Bakersfield, California to Carl Keith and Velma (Jones) Salmon. He grew up and received his education in Wilburton, Oklahoma graduating from Wilburton High School. He was married to Kimberly Ann Gill. Rusty was a heavy equipment operator for Latimer County.

Rusty was preceded in death by his father and mother: Carl and Velma 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Rusty is survived by his wife: Kim, children: Carl Keith Salmon and Emily Salmon, brother: John Holbird, sister: Patsy Rickman, many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Rusty Salmon entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
