Carl Lee Collins, age 94, was born April 4, 1930, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Mable and Clyde Collins. Carl was the first of three sons.
Carl moved to Dawson, Oklahoma when he was 7 years old. Carl attended Bryant Elementary School in Dawson and he attended Cleveland Junior High and Will Rogers High School in Tulsa.
Carl enlisted in the United States Airforce in 1948 and was honorably discharged in 1952 with the rank of Staff Sargent.
Carl married Anna Bell Wright and they had one daughter and one son. Anna and Carl were members of the Skiatook Freewill Baptist Church.
Their son Jack passed in 1998. Anna preceded Carl in death on August 15, 2010, After 60 years seven months and 15 days of marriage. He is also preceded in death by his son-in-law Ron Lockhart and sister-in-law Ruby Collins.
Carl is survived by his daughter Judy Lockhart of Skiatook, granddaughter Deidra Carlile and husband Sammy of Skiatook, grandson Jack Collins and wife Denise of Bixby, grandson Ian Collins of Tulsa, three great-grandsons, and one brother Leonard Collins of Cassville, Missouri.
The family of Carl Collins entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
