Calvin Ray Nichols

Calvin Ray Nichols, age 74, of Manford, died at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the Post Acute Specialty Hospital in Tulsa.

Calvin was born June 4, 1941 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Lloyd Nichols Sr. and Tressie (Ridenour) Nichols. Calvin grew up and received his education in Hominy. Calvin married Barbara Ann Thomas and they made their home in Skiatook. Calvin had been employed with Safeway in Owasso, Sipes Foods, McCartney’s and Buds where he was a meat cutter.
Calvin was preceded in death by his father and by one grandson: Shakota Nichols.

Calvin is survived by his mother: Tressie Nichols, three children: Tracie Nichols, Steve Nichols and Mark Nichols, one brother: Sonny Nichols, four grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

Cremation services are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
