Graveside services for Bruce Bland Crain will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the Osage Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Sam Nichols, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Bruce Bland Crain, age 79, of Claremore, died at Monday, June 22, 2015 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

Bruce was born June 9, 1936 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Buddy and Jewell (Rooks) Crain. Bruce grew up and received his education in Tulsa. Bruce also attended N.S.U. where he received his Bachelor’s degree. Bruce married Linda Lucille Bolden on September 18, 1959 and made their home in Tulsa. Bruce entered into the United States Army and received his honorable discharge in 1961. Bruce was employed with the Tulsa Fire Department from 1962 until his retirement. Bruce was a member of the First Baptist Church in Claremore.

Bruce was preceded in death by his mother and father, one brother and by two sisters.

Bruce is survived by his wife: Linda of the home, three children: Deborah Bragg, Eric Crain and Darlene Crain, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
