Funeral services for Bret Henson will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2016 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Key, officiating. Interment will follow in the Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Bret Henson, age 42, of Collinsville, died at 1:25 a.m. Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the St. John Medical center in Tulsa.

Bret was born May 18, 1973 in San Diego, California to Lloyd Wayne and Susan Kaye (Bradfield) Henson. Bret grew up and received his education in Glenpool graduating from high school in 1991. Bret married Kayla Fay Blankenship on May 5, 2001 in Collinsville making their home in Collinsville most their married life. Bret was employed with Whirlpool in 1997 where he was a process technician. Bret liked to play videos, drinking mountain dew, ice tea and hanging out with his kids.

Bret is survived by his wife: Kayla of the home, two daughters: Mikayla Blankenship and Traci Blankenship, mother and father: Susan and Lloyd Henson, sister: Jennifer Dossman and husband David, brother: Craig Henson, sister-in-laws: Deborah McGaha and Phyllis Blankenship, brother-in-laws: Michael Blankenship and David Blankenship several nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Casket escorts for the services will be: Josh Robbins, Jeff Malone, Burl Forbes Jr., David Dossman, Craig Henson and Mason Dossman.

Honorary casket escorts will be: John Stevens and Jason Stevens.

Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
