Funeral services for Bonnie Kay Talley will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 1, 2014 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry Harper, officiating. Private family interment to follow under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Bonnie Kay Talley, age 61, of Tulsa, died at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 in the Green Country Care Center in Tulsa.
Bonnie was born March 1, 1953 in Turley, Oklahoma to Daniel Thomas and Esther Christine (Smith) Wilkinson. Bonnie grew up and received her education in Turley. Bonnie married Carlton Elmo Howe in 1972 in Miami, Oklahoma and made their home in Turley. In 1992 Bonnie married Gary Wayne Talley in Sperry and they made their home in Turley. Bonnie worked in restaurants since 1969 and her last one was at Hodges. Bonnie had also worked for Tulsa Beef Co. of Tulsa. Bonnie loved to work outside, she loved fishing, loved horses and dogs and was a member of the Osage Oaks Church Of God in Sperry.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Gary Talley, former husband Carlton Howe,one daughter; Carmen Howe, great granddaughter; Izabella Steelman and her parents; Daniel and Christine (Smith) Wilkinson.
Bonnie is survived by her children; Mitchell Sue Steelman, Charles Howe, Clayton Howe, Quinton Scott Howe, Brandon Jai Howe and Randon Howe, sisters; Diana Brown, Charlotte McCause, Doris and husband Daniel DeGase and Tonda Wilkinson, ten grandchildren; Justin, Derek, Kody, Kacey Steelman, Maria, Paige, Dusty, Madison, Tori and Haylon Howe, ten great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Music for the services will be; “You Are My Sunshine” and “”Jesus Love Me”.
Funeral and Cremation services are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
