Bobby Strickland, age 72, of Hominy, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, July 22, 2023 at his residence.

Bobby was born September 12, 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Robert and Betty June (Real) Strickland. He grew up and received his education in Haskell, Oklahoma. Bobby married Emma Jean Goss on July 17, 1970 in Tulsa and they made their home in Coweta, Oklahoma before moving to Hominy in October of 1994. He was a truckdriver for Saia Motor Freight. Bobby liked going to buffets and his passion was fireworks.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Betty, sisters: Connie Bell, Sherry Collins, brothers: Billy Strickland, and Berry Strickland.

Bobby is survived by his wife: Emma, children: Delaina Minton, Bobby Strickland, Kimberly Duncan, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Bobby Strickland entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
