Blevins (Gibbs) Daylight, age 75 of Perkins, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, October 20, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Blevins was born September 6, 1948, in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Hiram and Jacqueline (Collins) Gibbs. She grew up and received her education in Cushing and graduated from Cushing High School. After high school Blevins attended Haskell University and Northeastern State University where she took classes in nursing. In 1978 Blevins married Larry Clayton Daylight. She worked many years for Cushing Hospital where she retired as a C.N.A. She also worked at the Tulsa Theater Indian Co. in The Best Feather Dance Troupe as a performer. Blevins was a homemaker and a seamstress and she enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, traveling, dancing, stomp dancing, and going to powwows.

Blevins was preceded in death by her husband: Larry Clayton Daylight, mother and father: Hiram and Jacqueline Gibbs, and brother: Julian Fox.

Blevins is survived by her children: Kimberly Daylight, Larry Clayton Daylight II, Clayton Daylight, siblings: Barbara Terrell, Hiram Gibbs (Warrior) Alma Focht, Gladys Focht, grandchildren: Kensy Daylight, Cydney Daylight, Skyler Daylight, Jordyn Daylight, Chelsea Daylight, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Blevins (Gibbs) Daylight entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
