Funeral services for Blaine D. Hale will be held at11:00 a.m. Thursday at the First Assembly Of God Church with Jack Sakil, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Blaine D. Hale, age 78, of Skiatook, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 at his Skiatook residence.

Blaine was born March 25, 1938 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Fred and Virginia (Weston) Hale. Blaine grew up and received his education in Tulsa. Blaine also served for eight years in the Army National Guard. Blaine married Donna Mae Roberts on June 30, 1956 in Tulsa where they made their home until moving to Skiatook in 1971. Blaine was a machinist for thirty years his later years he worked for McKissick. Blaine was a member of the First Assembly Of God Church where he was Deacon and was Assistant Sunday School Superintendent. Blaine liked fishing, woodworking and making jewelry. Blaine was also known by family and friends as “Barney”.

Blaine was preceded in death by his mother and father, 1 brother, one grandson Kenton “Bubba” Wills.

Blaine is survived by his wife Donna, two daughters: Vickey Gaffney and husband Jerry and Penny Wills and husband Mark, three grandchildren: Brandon, Kyle and Kendall, three great grandchildren: Kingston, Grayson and Graham, Travis Rossom and Levi Rossom, one brother: Jerry Hale and a host of other relatives and friends.

Casket escorts for the services will be: Travis Sakil, Mark Wills, Jerry Gaffney, Kyle Wills, Brandon Gaffney and Harvey Johnson.

The family of Blaine D. Hale entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
