Billy Howard Wilson

Funeral services for Billy Howard Wilson will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2016 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Wynn, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Billy Howard Wilson, age 69, of Barnsdall, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Hillcrest Medical center in Tulsa.

Bill was born January 2, 1947 in Skiatook, Oklahoma to Roland and Margaret (Parker) Wilson. Bill grew up and received his education in Skiatook where he graduated in 1966. Bill entered into the United States Navy in 1966 and received his honorable discharge in 1970. Bill married Christine Cantrell in 1971 in Broken Arrow. Bill later married Paula Annette Wolford and they made their home in Barnsdall. Bill was employed with Oklahoma Beverage and later became a rancher. Bill liked taking care of his yard, taking care of his horse and Bolivar his bull. Bill also liked working and playing with computers and spending time with his family and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his father and by two grandchildren.

Bill is survived by his wife Paula, six children: Kenneth Wilson, Tina Wilson Stevens, Angie McCustian, Joni Clouse, Gina Nill and Connor Wilson, one brother: Clyde Wilson, three sisters: Barbara Hermanns, Donna Lawhead and Rhonda Brewer, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: “Convoy”, “Islands In The Stream” and “Don’t Know How Much”.

Casket escorts for the services will be: Jimmie Stevens Jr., Les Clouse, Colin Brewer, Dilon Brewer, Billy Lawhead, Rikki Swicegood, Joey Schesny and David Roberts.
