Funeral services for Billy Odell will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the First Baptist Church West Rogers Campus with Pastor Billy Don Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage gardens cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton funeral Home.

Billy Odell, age 73, of Skiatook, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at his residence.

Billy was born April 27, 1944 in Oglesby, Oklahoma to George and Elizabeth (Payte) Odell. Billy grew up and received his education in Oglesby. Billy married Josephine Ione Evans on June 5, 1965 in Skiatook where they have made their home since that time. Billy was employed with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Department where he was a deputy from 1971 until he retired in 1997. Billy loved his horses and cows, loved to dance, play pool and he worked hard and played hard. Billy will be missed by all who knew him.

Billy was preceded in death by his mother and father, one brother: Son odell and by his son: Chris Odell.

Billy is survived by his wife: Jo, daughter: Jodi Kaiser and husband Patrick, two grandchildren: Daniel Kaiser and Patrick Kaiser, siblings: Shirley Brown, Ivy and Don Brown, Georgia and Bob Magers and Debbie and Rowdy Trotter several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Charles Reed, Mike Adams, Rowdy Trotter, Cody Trotter, Roger Brown and James Mattison. Honorary pallbearers will be: Mike Evans, Leland Wilson, Gene Hasting, Ferrell Montgomery, Ronnie Weathers, John Wright and Steve Ree.

Music for the services will be: “When I Close My Eyes” performed by: Phillip Crain and “Come Home At Supper Time”.

The family of Billy Odell entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
