Billie Jorena (Reeves) Morgan

Billlie Jorena Morgan, age 91, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the Evergreen Care Center at Baptist Village in Owasso.
Jorena was born May 6, 1933, in Beggs, Oklahoma to William B. and Maggie Jewell (Austin) Reeves. Jorena grew up and received her education in Fisher, Slick, Wyatt, Plymouth, and the family moved to Skiatook in 1947, and she graduated from Skiatook High School in 1953. Jorena married Frank Henry Morgan on January 8, 1950, making their home in Skiatook. Jorena and Frank ran a Dairy Farm for many years. They moved to Tulsa and back to Skiatook and moved to Houston, Texas, Hillsboro, Kansas, Ft. Smith, Arkansas and moved back to Skiatook in 1979. Frank retired from AMPI and Jorena had been employed with Sears in Tulsa and Houston, Aetna Insurance where she was a bookkeeper. Jorena had also worked at the Tulsa Board of Realtors and Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas. Jorena loved in her younger years swimming, water skiing, play cards, reading and watching TV. Jorena was a member of the Skiatook Freewill Baptist Church.
Jorena was preceded in death by her mother and father, William and Maggie Reeves, husband, Frank Morgan, brothers, Tommy William Reeves, Ronald Richard Reeves and Jimmy Ray Reeves, and sisters, Nancy Ann Bates Marceline Underwood, and Christina Crawford.
Jorena is survived by her sisters, Patsy Wilson and Karolyn Morris, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Music selections are, “Sheltered In The Arms Of God” performed by Clarence and Willie Ashlock, “Knowing You Will Be There” performed by Hayden Bramlett and “Amazing Grace” performed by the congregation.
Pallbearers are, Roy Reeves, Mark Reeves, Clinton Morgan, Ronald Hurd, Silas Leonard and Kennan Inbody. Honorary pallbearers are Robby Bates, Walter Morris, and Eli Leonard.
The family of Jorena Morgan entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
