Billie (McGuire) Treat

Funeral services for Billie (McGuire) Treat were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 9 th , 2012 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raymond Henson, officiating. Interment followed in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Billie (McGuire) Treat, age 86, of Skiatook died at 3:35 p.m. Sunday, May 6 th , 2012 at the Skiatook Nursing Home.

Billie was born August 4, 1925 in Prestonsburg , Kentucky to Thomas A. and Jeannette (Burchett) McGuire. She grew up and received her education in Skiatook Country Schools. Billie married Ora Whitlatch Jr. and unto this union was born two children; Darlene Whitlatch and Bill Ray Whitlatch. Billie later married Troy L. Treat and unto this union was born one daughter; Delilah Treat. Billie worked in Tolleson RX Drugs and was also a beauty operator in Skiatook for twenty-five years. Billie liked quilting, fishing, working puzzles and her favorite past time was going to music shows. Billie was a member of the Avant first Baptist Church and the Skiatook senior Citizens Center .

Billie was preceded in death by her mother and father and husband Troy .

Billie is survived by her children; Darlene Barber and husband Butch of Skiatook, Bill Whitlatch and wife Marilyn of Vinita and Delilah Akin and husband Rick of Skiatook, grandchildren; Delana Brooks, Nellie Dawn Crooks, Ricci Wilbanks, Carmen Whitlatch, Laura Frazee and Justin Akin and Abbie, seven great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Casket escorts for the services were: Bill Whitlatch, Butch Barber, Rick Akin, Justin Akin, Johnny Dodson and Omar Bayouth.

Special music for the services was performed by J.R. Sellers and The Rubber Band.

Funeral services and interment was under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
