Betty May Ivy

Betty May Ivy, age 68, of Skiatook  and former Hominy resident passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the Clarehouse in Tulsa.

Betty was born February 20, 1948 in Sioux City, Iowa to Louis and Marion Louise (Harrington) Gordon. She grew up and received her education in Iowa. Betty also attended trade school. Betty married Thomas Ivy and he preceded her in death in 2007. Betty worked for AAON where she was a factory worker where she retired from. Betty liked reading, gardening and crocheting.

Betty was preceded in death by her mother and father and her husband Thomas Ivy.

Betty is survived by her daughter Trish Cyr and son Bill Cyr, five brothers and sisters: Sonny, Kitty, Patty, Debbie and Buddy, three grandchildren, Kelly, Derek and Ashley, one great grandson Ryder, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Betty May Ivy entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
