Betty Charlene (Byrd) Hamilton

Betty Hamilton age 71 of Osage/Skiatook, Oklahoma went to be with her lord and savior Saturday November 5th 2022 at 2:45 pm in her home surrounded by her loved ones.

To those who knew her knew that she could be sweet or difficult, but we all loved her with all our hearts. She always wanted the best for her children and done everything she could to make them happy.

Betty was born May 9th1951, she left this world November 5th2022.  Betty grew up in Collinsville where she met the love of her life Bobby, they were married August 10th1968. They were thick as thieves and always by each other’s side until the day that he left this world on June 1st2016. She always kept him close to her heart.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Charley Snow and Stella Inez Byrd of Collinsville, her brother James Byrd, her sister in laws Earline Byrd, Ruby Byrd, and Letha Byrd. Her husband Bobby Dean Hamilton SR.

Betty was a fighter, even when odds were against her. She fought and won her battle with breast cancer. That is why she fought so hard, even at the end to never be a burden to anyone especially to her children, that love her so very much.

She is survived by her brothers Billy Byrd Sr. of Avant, Clyde Byrd of Muskogee, and Jackie and Sherry Byrd of Checotah. She is also survived by her children Bobby and Natalie Hamilton of Skiatook, Dora Rogers and Tommy Eubanks of Sand Springs, Christine and Sean (Turtle) of Osage, Jayson Hamilton of Skiatook, and her boyfriend Adam Munsch of Osage, who has been left the privilege of caring for her very much-loved fur babies Lucy her puppy, and Ethel her kitty. She is also survived by her many wonderful grandchildren Bobby, Steven, Shannon and her partner Robbie, Racheal and her husband Joe, Daniel and his girlfriend Patience, Vanessa and her husband Ethan, Brittany and her partner Bo, Ryan, Tiffany and her fiancée Michael, Alyssa and her wife Alaya, Hayli and her husband Galan, Jayson II., James, and Michael. Her great grandchildren Sadie, Benjamin, Elaya, Allison.  As well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, as well as close family friends.

We hope that in her last days she felt all the love from us, that we all had for her, as she was the matriarch of our family. We are asking that if you wish to honor our mother that you donate to St Jude’s or Susan G Komen instead of buying flowers.

You will be remembered for all the love you received, all the love you had to give, all the life you shared, all the life you shared with us, all the time you gave, all the time you put into us, all the pain you created, all the tears you wiped away, all the pain you hid from us, all the happiness you gave to us.

We love you very much mom, you will always be in our hearts always and forever. You taught us how to live in this world and you prepared us to be able to do that without you fly high mom.
