Betty “Darlyne” Childers

Betty “Darlyne”, age 67, of Skiatook, died at 8:30 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 at her Skiatook residence.

Darylne was born November 7, 1945 in Skiatook to Kenneth Everett and Betty Mildred (Dacus) Haddock. She grew up and received her education in Skiatook, graduating from high school in 1964. Darlyne married Tommy Alan Childers on July 26, 1966 in Skiatook and they made their home in Stillwater for a little while  and then moved to Skiatook where they have made their home most of their married life. Darlyne was a rancher and she enjoyed taking care of her cows, sheep and goats.

Darlyne was preceded in death by her mother and fataher and by one son: Stephen Childers.

Darlyne is survived by her husband Tommy of the home, one daughter: Becky Stacy of Avant, three grandchildren: Mikayla, Miley and Miranda and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services was: “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art”.
