Barry Carr

Funeral services for Barry Carr will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Sperry with John King, officiating. Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Barry Carr, age 61, of Sperry, died at 5:42 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015 at his Sperry residence.

Barry was born September 30, 1954 in Hatboro, Pennsylvania to Clarence Henry and Barbara Ann (Sines) Carr. He grew up and received his education in Pennsylvania graduating from Pennridge High School in 1973. Barry married Tanya June Still on May 11, 1985 in Sperry where they made their home since that time. Barry was a project manager for Cantera Concrete. Barry liked fishing, hunting, spending time with the kids and sports.
Barry was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Barry is survived by his wife: Tanya of the home, three children: Travis S. Carr and wife Amanda, Wesley K. Carr and wife Cassidy and Cole L. Carr, one brother: David Carr, two sisters: Wendy Wenhold and Cathy Bernath, three grandchildren: Kasen B. Carr, Cash S. Carr and Tessa E. Carr, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: “Troubadour” and “The Walk”.

Casket escorts for the services are: Joe Ward, Chris Danold, Ryan Shatswell, Evan Johnson, Brent Dostal and Mark Wilson. Honorary casket escorts will be: Jimmy Seago, Jerry Bob Seago, Dale Gruenwald, Gary Ready, Kendall Anderson, Bobby Scoggins, Byron Bowman and Larrye Still.

Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
