Barbara J. (Strang) Van Wyck

Barbara J.  Van Wyck, age 81, of Sperry went to be with her Lord and Savior at 8:26 a.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at her Sperry residence.

Barbara was born April 11, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Orville and Alice (Campen) Strang. Barbara grew up and received her education in Pennsylvania where she graduated high school. Barbara was married to George Van Wyck and were married for 51 years at the time of his death. Barbara was a simple woman, lived life well and was fair. Barbara was well known for her horse business in Sperry and the owner of Steak Stuffers for many years in Tulsa.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Alice Strang and her husband George Van Wyck.

Barbara is survived by her son; Garth Van Wyck, grandson; Garrett Van Wyck and granddaughter, Gaylan Ikner.
