Barbara Jessie (Hillman) Tullis

Barbara J. Tullis, age 91, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, October 23, 2021 in Skiatook.

Barbara was born June 27, 1930 in Quincy, Illinois to Harvey and Cecelia (Andrews) Hillman. Barbara grew up and received her education in Quincy where she graduated from Highschool in 1948. Barbara was a accountant for IGA Grocery and for Occidental Petroleum Corporation. Where she retired from in 1986. Barbara married Bobby Gene Tullis on April 20, 1956 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma making their home in Skiatook since 1971. Barbara was a member of the Skiatook Christian Church. Barbara loved her church activities, was a Sunday School Teacher, loved working in her flowerbeds, collecting pens and pencils spending time with her grandchildren and special time with Gage her grandson.

Barbara was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Bob Tullis, two sisters; Marjory Hillman and Pat Cramm, son-in-law MD “Dogg” Collins and by her grandson Tommy Hartman.

Barbara is survived by her children; Yvonne Moore, Flora Collins and Bobby Tullis Jr. and wife Betty, grandchildren; Tara and Mark Moran, Natasha Hartman-Mitchell, Yolanda Hamilton and Yvette and Chris Berg, great grandchildren; Lane Newton, JT Cooke, Gage Cooke, Shana Cooke, Renee Moran, Joshua Moran, Preston Bowers, Hunter Hamilton and Kirsten Berg, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Barbara Tullis entrusted the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home with her care and services.
