Celebrating the life of Ava Jo Wallace will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2019 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Butler officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Ava Jo Wallace, age 88, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, October 23, 2019 in Tulsa.

Ava Jo was born March 7, 1931 in Skiatook, Oklahoma to George Warren and Cleta B. (Kennedy) Bradshaw. Ava Jo was raised by her grandparents Rose and George Bradshaw from 18 months old through high school. Ava Jo grew up and received her education in Skiatook where she graduated in 1948. Ava Jo married J.P. Wallace February 1, 1971 in Springfield, Colorado making their home in Fountain, Colorado until moving to Collinsville in 1978. In 1994 they moved to Skiatook where they had continued to make their home. Ava Jo was employed with St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa and with the Collinsville Exchange Bank. Ava Jo liked sewing, crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren and other family.

Ava Jo was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband J.P. Wallace, son; Ricky Thompson and Brother; Billy Warren Bradshaw.

Ava Jo is survived by her children; Randall Thompson and wife Sherry and Julie Busbice and husband Don, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Ava Jo Wallace entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Skiatook.
