Funeral services for Augustine Tulsa will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 21, 2020 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sonny Moody officiating. Interment will follow in the RestHaven Cemetery in Sperry under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Augustine Tulsa, age 57, of Okmulgee went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, December 17, 2020 in Tulsa.

Augustine was born July 17, 1963 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Carol Sue (Buzzard) and George Lee Tulsa Sr. Augustine grew up and received her education Sequoyah School in Tahlequah where she graduated in 1981. Augustine had also attended the Bacone College and Muscogee Creek Nation College where she was working on her Bachelor’s degree. Augustine was employed with Tulsa Regional Medical Center/OSU Hospital Tulsa where she was a Phlebotomist for several years. Augustine loved sewing, working, casino and Enjoyed working on Native American regalia. She gave the ultimate sacrifice for her child without hesitation and that is how God designed mothers to be. There is no greater love than Gods love and a mother’s love. We are sad she is gone but she is happy again. God knew her heart and knew she would not leave her sons side in his time of need and probably knew she needed to come home after losing her son.

Augustine was preceded in death by her mother and father, one son, one brother and by one sister.

Augustine is survived by her two daughters; Isha Thompson and Carrie Thompson, two sisters; Carol Tulsa-Lowe and Jackie Tulsa, eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers for the services will be: David Fleming, Cory Wynn, Skylar Goodvoice, Jayden Shawnee, Ashton Shawnee and Kenneth Lowe.
