Amy Janelle Nelson

NELSON,  Amy Janelle, 41, was born May 31, 1976 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Due to complications of Juvenile Onset Parkinson’s disease, Amy passed peacefully, joyfully, gracefully in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Amy stepped into eternity and went to be a “Princess” of the King on 06/19/2017.

Amy is survived by her Father - Steve Nelson of Garden City, Kansas; Mom - Carol Novinger-Nelson-Hicks of Collinsville, Oklahoma and “Dad” Larry Hicks.  Two sisters -  Lora Ann Nelson-Todd and husband Chad Todd of Nowata, Oklahoma and Kendra Frances Lee Hicks-Brown and Brent Neely of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma.  Two brothers Larry Michael Hicks of Claremore, Oklahoma and Dalton Jeremy Hicks of Inola, Oklahoma .  Amy is also survived by several loving uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many precious Friends.

Amy was preceded in death by both paternal and maternal grandparents:  Wendell & Betty Nelson and Ken & Wanda Novinger.  Amy was preceded in death by her sister - Ashley Sue Hicks and one brother - Thomas Eugene Hicks

Amy graduated 12th in her class at Caney Valley High School 1995

Amy was a member of Vera Full Gospel Fellowship Church.

The celebration of Amy’s life will be held at 11am 06/24/2017
