Alvin Ray Adams, a cherished member of his community and beloved family man, was born on March 14, 1969, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 55 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Alvin's journey began in Skiatook, where he grew up and completed his education, graduating in 1988. He married Pam Bullard in 1990. He later married Tammy Williams on October 16, 1998, in Sperry. The couple created a loving home, initially residing in Sperry, before moving to Skiatook and eventually settling in Barnsdall.
For many years, Alvin dedicated himself to his career as an over-the-road truck driver, a profession that took him across the country, allowing him to touch countless lives along the way. He was known for his hard work, reliability, and the warmth he extended to everyone he encountered.
Alvin's legacy carries on through his two children, Nicole Adams and Tyler Adams, and his daughter-in-law, Kassy. He was a proud grandfather to three grandchildren, Jazmyn Adams, Elias Adams, and Kyler Adams, who brought him immense joy. Alvin is survived by his mother, Connie Forrest, and his siblings: two sisters, Robbie McDonald and her husband James, and Muerissa Coffman, as well as two brothers, Brian Adams and wife Tracy, and Curtis Coffman and wife Amber. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends who will remember him fondly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Ray Adams Sr., his stepfather, Robert Coffman, and his brother, Dewayne Coffman. Alvin Ray Adams will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
