Alice Fae (Killion) Corley

Alice Fae Corley, age 94, of Tulsa went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, March 24, 2022, at her residence.

Alice was born August 19, 1927 in Skiatook, Oklahoma to Lawrence Emanuel and Edna Jane (Thomas) Killion. She grew up and received her education in Skiatook, Oklahoma and graduated from Skiatook High School in 1946. Alice married Francis Luther Corley on October 16, 1954 and they made their home in Skiatook. In October of 1966, they adopted Katherine Lynn and raised her in Skiatook.

Alice was active with her church for many years. Within the body of Christ, her service included visiting others in the hospital and patiently sitting with and comforting the infirmed and their families. In her church, she served as secretary at Hillside Assembly. Alice was well-known within the community for her acts of service and involvement with church. She loved Lord Jesus, The Living Word, our only blessed hope! And she read The Holy Bible every day.

Alice was employed at Wells Food Market for many years. She started as a cashier and rose to office manager.

Alice loved gardening, canning, quilting, crocheting, and sewing dresses together with her daughter.

Alice was preceded in death by her mother and father: Edna and Lawrence Killion, husband: Francis Corley, brother: Buel Killion, sister: Barbara Bryan, and grandson: Elijah “Nate” Williams.

Alice is survived by her children: Katherine Maxwell and husband Tony, sister: Dorothy Barber and husband Jack, grandchildren: Gabriel and Elizabeth Maxwell, Thomas Maxwell and Aja Assad, Anna Maxwell, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
