Alex Christopher Hillyard

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Vera Full Gospel Church for the Angel Tree in honor of Alex Hillyard.

Alex Christopher Hillyard, age 39, of Skiatook went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 18, 2024, in Skiatook. Alex was involved in a car accident in Skiatook.

Alex was born April 28, 1985, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Rhonda Michella (Alex) and David Lee Hillyard. Alex grew up and received his education in Owasso, Coffeyville and Skiatook. Alex was employed with Robertson Tire in Owasso where he was a tire technician for the past 5 years. Alex loved art, was a stereo technician, was a tattooist, but most of all spending time with his twin daughters.  Alex was a member of the Vera Full Gospel Fellowship Church. Alex served his country proudly when he entered into the United States Army in 2002 and received his honorable discharge in 2006.

Alex was preceded in death by his brother, Joshua Gauger and Grandmother Sandy Alex.

Alex is survived by his mother, Rhonda Gauger, father, David Hillyard and wife Tracey, twin daughters, Blaze and Storm Hillyard, two brothers, Daniel Hillyard and Jordan Hillyard and wife Cari, Grandparents, Harry Alex, Jack Hillyard, Zolla and Michael Wright, aunts and uncle, Robin Roller, Angela and Travis Sellers and Christy Hillyard, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The music for the services will be, “In The Stars” by Benson Boone and “If Today Was Your Last Day” by Nickleback. Family video music is “Sound Of Silence” by Disturbed, “Leave Out All The Rest” by Linkin Park, “How To Save A Life” by The Fray and “Untitled” by Simple Plan.
